“Coisa Feita” [koiz-ah FAY-tuh] by João Bosco, Aldir Blanc and Paulo Emilio: The group’s funky side is highlighted in this Partido Alto.

“Tico-Tico No Fubá” by Zequinha de Abreu-Eurico Barreiros: Carmen Miranda popularized this Brazilian classic in the 1947 film Copacabana.

“Corrupião” [korr-oo-pee-OHN] by Edu Lobo: This is a recent composition by a giant of Música popular Brasileira.

“Brasileirinho” [bra-zeel-ay-REEN-hoe] by Waldir Azevedo: The great Brazilian composer wrote numerous chorinos. This is one of the group’s favorites.

“O Trenzinho Do Caipira” [oh train-zeen-ho doo kye-PEE-rah] by Heitor Villa-Lobos: This tune is adapted from “Bachianas Brasileiras No. 2,” a popular work by the man considered to be Brazil’s greatest classical composer.
